The Theme for March's Podcasts is The Modern Titus 2 Woman. Titus 2 encourages "older" women to "urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God."
We are wrapping up this March series with a powerful episode! My church's First Lady (aka co-Pastor and Pastor's wife) Min Erica Moore is my special guest. I served under Min Erica's leadership for nearly 8 years on the women's ministry leadership team at Faith Christian Center Phoenix. Min Erica is as wise as she is beautiful and fashionable. She brings a spirit of excellence to everything she does.
She is a Michigan State University graduate and a licensed and ordained minister. In 2008, Min Erica founded the Woman2Woman Women's ministry with
the mission of empowering women to be their best.
It was a pleasure to have this chat with Min Erica and hear Titus 2 principles from her perspective. In this episode she shares the connection between our relationships and the legacy we will leave AND who better to talk about managing other's expectations than a woman raising 4 children and running a ministry along side her husband? I experienced my own "A-ha" moment, when Min Erica shared the moment that set her free from trying to live a balanced life.
You are in for a treat!

In week 2 of this series we chat with Alexandra Kuykendall. Alex is a wife, a mom, and an author. She speaks to women around the world about issues of parenting, faith and identity.
The conversation in this episode centers on lessons Alex has learned about what to look for in a mentor and how to effectively mentor others. We discuss the process she uses to determine what to let go of and what to hold on to and why letting go of good things can be such a big relief. She shares examples from her own life of what mentoring "looks like" and reassures us that it doesn't need to be formal and complicated to be impactful.

In the first of this series we chat with Dena Patton. Dena Patton is a wife, a mom and an entrepreneur. She splits her time between her coaching company and her nonprofit company for girls. She is a speaker, an author and a business coach who helps people create GREAT businesses and become GREAT leaders. She also creates charity projects and ministry programs that change the world.
The conversation in this episode centers on Dena's vision for mentorship through the Girls Rule Foundation. Dena shares the story of how her nonprofit, Girls Rule Foundation, empowerment and leadership programs for girls ages 12-18, began. We talk about the value of mentorship in her life and how she now mentors other women and girls. In this week's episode of the StrongHer Podcast, we're sharing the final session from the 2017 You Are Stronger Than You Think Women's Event hosted by Kendra Tillman (@KendraTillman).
Bible teacher and author Ginger Ciminello reminds us that none of what we do amounts to anything if we have lost our desire to know God, intimately, personally, in the midst of our busy lives. Each of us has a soul. You are the only one charged with the care of your own soul. Hearing the Lord's instruction is not a task that can be delegated to someone else.
In this episode, Ginger explains that less than 20% of Christians read the Bible outside of church. She reveals the #1 reason people don't read their Bible and
provides ideas and instruction for creating space with God.
This rich session reminded us to be hungry for God's holy Word and to know God for ourselves. Her message was honest, convicting and made a difference in the lives of our attendees. We believe it will do the same for you!
